Why Test First
Numbers, not a sales pitch
Most water filtration companies will recommend a system before they know what's in your water. We don't. A water test takes less than an hour and tells you exactly what you're dealing with — so you buy what you actually need and skip what you don't.
We measure at three points: the supply line before your pila, the cistern itself, and a tap inside your home. Comparing the numbers tells us where contaminants are entering — and what kind of system actually fixes the problem. Whether your water comes from CESPT in Tijuana or Playas de Tijuana, CESPE in Rosarito or Ensenada, or a private well in Valle de Guadalupe, the testing approach is the same.
What We Measure
Five key indicators
TDS
Total dissolved solids — minerals, salts, and dissolved materials affecting taste and scale.
Hardness
Calcium and magnesium content. High hardness causes scale on fixtures and shortens appliance life.
pH
Acidity or alkalinity. Affects taste, pipe corrosion, and how well filtration performs.
Chlorine
Free chlorine from municipal treatment. Levels vary seasonally and after maintenance events.
Bacteria
Coliform indicator. Cisterns and tinacos can develop microbial growth that needs UV treatment.
