Water Softener, Large
For more than four people or well water: a 12" x 52" resin tank with 2.0 cubic feet of resin, plus a separate brine tank.

For homes with more than four people, or on well water. The Canature Hydrotech 765-200 is a two-tank softener: a 12 by 52 inch resin tank holding 2.0 cubic feet of resin, and a separate brine tank that holds up to 350 lb of salt. It delivers 13 gpm and regenerates on metered use at a set time. It needs 30 to 125 psi of water pressure, which a gravity-fed tinaco alone does not reach.

How It Works
Soften, regenerate, refill salt
- 1
Softening
Water flows down through 2.0 cubic feet of 8% cation exchange resin in the 12 by 52 inch tank, which removes the calcium and magnesium that cause scale. At the factory setting it handles 44,000 grains between regenerations, at 13 gpm.
- 2
Metered, delayed regeneration
The control valve meters the water you use and regenerates at a set time once the resin needs it, rather than on a fixed calendar. Canature rates it at up to 50% less salt and 28% less water.
- 3
A separate brine tank
Salt goes in its own brine tank, up to 350 lb, with a safety float, an air check and a molded brine grid that reduces salt bridging. It needs a drain nearby, floor space for both tanks, and 30 to 125 psi of water pressure. Salt is an ongoing cost.

Why This System?
Choose the Large for more than four people, or for well water. Two cubic feet of resin and a 350 lb brine tank give it the capacity a busy house or a well needs, and it is IAPMO certified to NSF/ANSI 44 and 372. It needs 30 to 125 psi: if the house runs only on a gravity-fed tinaco, we will talk about pressure on the visit.
Every system includes a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and is eligible for our BWS Care plans: a yearly inspection of the salt, the brine tank, the resin and the settings.

How Often Should My Softener Be Serviced?
A softener does not use replaceable filter cartridges, but it does need regular attention. We recommend a full inspection once a year: salt level, brine tank, resin condition, hardness test, and a programming check. Total Home Care includes your annual softener inspection alongside your whole-house and RO maintenance, so every water system in your home is covered under one plan.
