How It Works
Three stages

Pre-filtration + booster
Water passes through the FP500 sediment and FC500SL anti-scale carbon filters to remove particles, chlorine, and scale. A built-in booster pump keeps the system running well even where feed pressure is low.

Reverse osmosis
The MRO5004F membrane removes dissolved contaminants including lead, fluoride, arsenic, and TDS, at 500 GPD with a 2:1 pure-to-drain ratio.

Alkaline + UV
The FG500AK filter adds calcium and magnesium back and raises pH, and a built-in UV stage (rated up to 8,000 working hours) provides an added barrier. The UV is a sealed unit, not a user-replaceable lamp. A leak-stop valve and filter-life monitor round out the system.

How Often Should I Replace My RO Filters?
Local water quality means RO pre-filters and membranes work harder here than they would up north. We recommend replacing your RO filters every 6 months to keep your drinking water clean and protect the membrane, which is the most expensive part of the system. With an RO Care Plan both swaps a year are handled for you. The filters and the two service visits are included, so your drinking water stays pure year-round and you never track the schedule or source filters yourself.
