The BWS Whole House Best system is the correct choice when you are on well water, when your water source is unknown or unreliable, when your home has 4 or more bathrooms and high daily water demand, or when prior water testing has shown elevated heavy metals. The iSpring WGB32B-KS is engineered for exactly these conditions — it is not a general-purpose filter that happens to handle heavy metals. Heavy metal removal is its primary design purpose.

This system includes three items:

• iSpring WGB32B-KS 3-Stage Whole House Filter with KDF Heavy Metal Reduction — Extra-large 4.5″ x 20″ filter housings engineered for high-demand households. Stage 1 is a 5-micron sediment filter removing dirt, rust, sand, and particulates. Stage 2 uses coconut shell granular activated carbon — higher quality than standard GAC — for chlorine, chloramine, VOC, pesticide, taste, and odor removal. Stage 3 uses KDF-55 media specifically optimized for heavy metal reduction, targeting lead, mercury, iron, hydrogen sulfide (the source of rotten egg odor), and arsenic. KDF media also actively inhibits bacteria growth within the filter housing itself. Full 1″ NPT inlet/outlet ports for whole-house flow rates. Designed for homes with 4-5 bathrooms or high-volume usage. iSpring SGS-tested and certified for performance.
• iSpring WSP50ARB Spin-Down Sediment Pre-Filter — Reusable auto-flush stainless mesh pre-filter. Captures sand, rust, silt, and large debris before they reach the KDF and GAC stages. In high-sediment Baja well water conditions, this pre-filter is critical for protecting the downstream investment. No cartridge cost — flushes clean with the drain valve.
• iSpring UVF55FS 55W UV Ultraviolet Sterilizer — Post-filtration UV sterilization eliminating bacteria, viruses, cysts, and microorganisms. For well water installations where biological contamination is a real risk, this stage is non-negotiable. 55-watt lamp, NSF/ANSI 55 Class B certified, stainless steel chamber, smart flow sensor, 12 GPM rated. Annual lamp replacement.
