The iSpring WCSTB45KG is a traditional two-tank whole house water softener with 45,000 grains of ion exchange capacity. The separate brine and resin tanks are the classic softener configuration — proven, reliable, and easy to maintain. Removes up to 99.71% of water hardness (calcium and magnesium). A solid entry-level choice for homes with 2–4 bathrooms.

Two-Tank vs. One-Tank Design
The WCSTB45KG uses a traditional two-tank layout: a separate resin tank and a brine (salt) tank. This is the classic water softener configuration that’s been used for decades. The one-tank models (WCS45KG and WCS50KG) combine both into a single unit for a smaller footprint. Choose the two-tank if you have the space and prefer the traditional, proven design.
Important Notes
- Salt required: Uses sodium chloride pellet salt (not included).
- Pre-filter recommended: Install a spin-down pre-filter if your water has sediment.
- Drinking water: Softened water contains added sodium. Add a reverse osmosis system at the kitchen tap for pure drinking water.
